Better Order ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
- Account data: Your name and email, used for authentication.
- Health preference: Your selected condition (blood sugar, blood pressure, or both). This is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to our servers.
- Feedback data: When you submit feedback on a restaurant, we store the restaurant name, your condition preference, and your feedback choice and optional reason.
- Location data: When you use "Near Me", your device location is used temporarily to find nearby restaurants. Your location is not stored on our servers.
- Email for waitlist: If you join the premium waitlist, we store your email address and current health preference.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide personalized restaurant recommendations based on your health preference.
- To improve our restaurant guides based on your feedback.
- To notify you when premium features become available (if you join the waitlist).
Data Storage
Your health preference and saved restaurants are stored locally on your device using browser storage. Your account, feedback, and waitlist data are stored securely on our servers.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Places API to find nearby restaurants. Your location is sent to Google temporarily to retrieve results. We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your Rights
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
- You can clear your local data by uninstalling the app.
- You can request data deletion by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
